With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothea Velma Mouratis Warren of Hampton, Virginia, born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Mouratis and Olga Mouratis; her husband James E. Warren, Jr.; and her son Theodore Warren. She is survived by: her children, Neill Warren and Kathlene Grauberger; her grandchildren, Matthew Grauberger (Abbey), John Grauberger, Marissa Buggy and Krysta Warren; her great grandchild Kingston Moore; and her sibling's children, Amy, Sally, Vee Ann and Ted.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home (245 S Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
