She is survived by: her sister Dale Laverne James Scott (Elisha); her children, Valerie Weaver (John), Patricia Lawton-Hicks (Marvin), Barry O. Lawton (Leslie Woody) and Dr. Linda Lawton Smith; and her grandchildren, Nicole Hicks (Stephen), April Ferguson Justin Hicks (Eloi), Sarah Anne Lawton and Asberry O Lawton.
