He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Marion and Doris O'Berry Martin; his former wives, Josie Ellis Martin and Shirley Ellis Carroll Martin; and his brother Paul Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Smith Martin; his children, Phyllis Reynolds (Rick), Kimberly Hewlett (Dave), Dana Heard, Susan Dyson, Pamela Bryson (Jeffrey), Donald Keith Carroll (Paula), Michelle Little (Aaron), Denise Topping (Warren) and Jeff Kuhn; and his sisters, Carol Martin Hayes (Bill) and Esther Martin Moeckl (Harold). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
