It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Gardner of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Effie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Effie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Marian (Harry), Derrick and Vincent (Belinda); her grandchildren, Baron Tyler Freeman, Harry Thomas Freeman V, Laila Simone Gardner, Davin Asiel Gardner, Kingston Emmanuel Gardner and Grayson Xavier Gardner; Lamar Gardner. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
