She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Wood; her parents, Herbert Dale and Olive Dale; and her siblings, Herbert Dale, Jr. and Nancy Snell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Beasley of Newport News and Ann Barber (Kevin W.) of Hampton; her grandsons, Kevin R. Barber (Sarah) of Yorktown and Hunter Beasley of Phoenix, Arizona; her great grandchild Vani Barber of Yorktown; and her siblings-in-law, Agie Dale, Ralph Snell and John Wood. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Eva's memory; a fitting tribute to a life lived in service to others.
