He is survived by: his children, Everett Lassiter, Jr. (Patrice) of Williamston, NC, Stephanie Lassiter of Newport News, VA, Shanequa Lassiter of Newport News, VA and Linnette Parker of Harlem, NY; and his sister Mary Harmon of Ahoskie, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hunter's Funeral Home (123 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr N, Ahoskie, NC 27910-7612).
