He is survived by: his daughters, Cherry Faulkner, Janice Gustafson (Wade) and Sheila Slone (JC); his brother Doug Westfall (Joy); and his grandchildren, Brian Faulkner (Betsy), Brett Faulkner (Amy), Rachel Gustafson (Scott Tinsley), Sarah Gustafson (Aaron Policow), Jessica Gustafson (Sean Cleary), Morgan Ruhl (Aaron) and Molly Brunk (Gabe). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Newport News Church of the Nazarene, 29 Harpersville Road, Newport News, VA 23601.
