He was predeceased by: his wife Minnie J. "Joanne" Worthington; and his son Carl Flowers. He is survived by: his daughter Diana Worthington Clark (Lee); his grandsons, Justin and Joshua Worthington Clark; and his sisters, Sue Tuton and Catherine. He is also survived by Cousins; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Children's Hospital of The Kings Daughter or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
