He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Shelton and Virginia Roberson Shelton; his brother Gary "Stevie" Shelton; and his stepson Joseph Tvelia. He is survived by: his wife Marge Shelton; his daughter Kelley Whiting; his granddaughter Krisna Whiting; his stepdaughter Lynn Hudnall (Lewis); and his grandchildren, Mitchell Hudnall and Mackenzie Hudnall.
