He was predeceased by: his son Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Laura (Kat) and John (Trulee); his daughter-in-law Kadi Lobos; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Amber, Elizabeth, Colton, Caleb and Cameron.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home (245 S Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
