He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Mary; his children, Michael (Bonita), Darryl (Donna), Jametha (Tim) and Donald (Dawn); his stepchildren, Leann and Gregory; his nieces, Renate and Jilliam; and his grandchildren, Danielle (Yannik), Marc (Casey), Mikayla, Myles, Evan and Dawson.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nickelson-Cummings F. H. (4304 Victoria Blvd, Hampton, VA 23669). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (171 Semple Farm Rd, Hampton, VA 23666). A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
