With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerry R. Hurst of Hampton, Virginia, born in Eastland, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Veda Hurst and Pete Hurst; and his brother Harold. He is survived by: his wife Melba Sherrie Goevelinger Hurst; his children, David (Jennifer), Stephen (Liz) and Heather Cox (Waylon); his grandchildren, Allison, Joshua Cox, Eleanor and Evelyn Hurst; and his siblings, Darrell (Dianne) and Pam Redman (Jeff).
