She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Popovich and Wilma Popovich; her son Gary A. Aheimer; her granddaughter Hope Ann Aheimer; and her sister Karen Popovich.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald B. Aheimer; her children, Donna J. Aheimer-Lockwood and Paul J. Aheimer (Kimberly); her daughter-in-law Martha L. Aheimer; her grandchildren, John C. Lockwood (Megan), Nicholas R. Lockwood (Zhanna Mizgina), Justin A. Aheimer (Emily), Schuyler E. Aheimer, Chloe A. Aheimer and Jakob P. Aheimer; her great grandchildren, Mason R. Criger and Marleigh R. Lockwood; her sisters, Marilyn Bell and Charlotte Hornish (Timothy); her nephew John Nagy; her close friend Mary Ann Richie; and her pet Georgie IV. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
