He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Cook "Bettyrene" Pope; his brother Charles Thomas Pope (Jeanette); his brother-in-law Howard Talley Cook (Dianne); his niece Amy Driscoll (Kenny); his nephew James "Jay" Cook (Julia); his great-nieces, Courtney Thompson (Mike), Tiffany Gregerson (Eric), Jadyn and Kalia Cook; his great-nephew Richard "Bodie" Driscoll; and his nephew Jack.
