Katherine Cook Obituary

We announce the death of Katherine Cook of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 94. Katherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliza Jane Shepphard Randall and Willie Earl Randall Sr.; her husband Isaac Cook; and her siblings, William Randall (Earl Randall), Willie Earl Randall Jr., Emanuel Randall, Pearl Lee Meekins and Isabelle Berkley.

She is survived by: her friend Katherine Randall Cook; her sons, Keith Cook of Louisville, KY and Eric Cook (Jean) of Upper Marlboro, MD; her granddaughter Erica Cook of Hampton, VA; her sisters, Louise Dancy of Newark, DE, Dora Kinchen (Rudolph) of New Castle, DE and Muneerah Abdul-Musawir (Taswir) of Hampton, VA; her grandson Brandon Womack of Bowie, MD; her sisters, Mary Royal of East Orange, NJ and Norma Holmes of East Orange, NJ; and her godson Kevin Curry. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
