He is survived by: his brothers, Johnnie Justus Slayton and Glenn Ray Slayton; his children, Lisa Ann, Oppen, Deborah Lynn Garland and Michael Edward Slayton; his grandchildren, Kali Lane McMurray and Courtney Brianne McMurray; and his great grandchild Stephen Mark Parson.
