She was predeceased by: her sons, Samuel King and Nedrick King. She is survived by: her children, Garnet Nowell of Tulsa, Clifford Nowell of Hampton, Anthony King, Myron Alston of Washington, DC, Larry Nowell of Fayetteville, NC and Alexander Nowell of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home (4304 Victoria Blvd, Hampton, VA 23669). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
