We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Linda Rae Large of Hampton, Virginia, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph David Bowers and Audrey Theresa Rossner Bowers; her husband Ronald Arthur Large; her stepmother Elsie Bowers; and her brother Craig Allen Bowers.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Chastain (Ben) and Joe (Barbara); her grandchildren, Candice Chastain-Stubenrauch, Caitlyn Crosby (Weston), Andrew Chastain, Trevor Chastain (Amanda), Sarah, Shyanne, Leigha and Eli; and her great grandchildren, Lillie, Lydia, Lyam, Loralei, Weston, Harper, Jackson, Natalie and Caden.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, a nonprofit pediatric hospital close to Linda's heart that provides care to several of her great-grandchildren.
