As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lloyd may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Claiborne and Blanche Claiborne; and his wife Margaret D. Claiborne. He is survived by: his children, Linda D. Williams, Eric E. Claiborne and Crystal G. Claiborne; and his grandchildren, Tanisha J. Leverette (Cedric), Tyres J. Bailey, Christopher E. Bailey, Deborah L. Cheeseman, Jordan A. Claiborne and Victoria D. Claiborne. He is also survived by 9 brothers (3 deceased) and four sisters.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the NICKELSON-CUMMINGS FUNERAL HOME (4304 Victoria Blvd, Hampton, VA 23669). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hampton Memorial Gardens (155 Butler Farm Rd, Hampton, VA 23669).
