Luis T. Ruck Obituary

In the vast expanse of eternity, Luis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Luis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Monica A. Ruck; and his daughter Patricia E. Nevius. He is survived by: his sons, Luis I. Ruck (Kathy) and Roberto T. Ruck (Heather); and his siblings, Carlota Samuel (Garth) and Federico Ruck. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home (245 S Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Messiah Center (1421 W Pembroke Ave, Hampton, VA 23661). A committal service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666). A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the same location.
