She is survived by : her daughters, Sebina Stalling and Tameka Simmon; her grandchildren, Ciara Stalling, Jasmine Stalling, Dino Stalling, Shameka Simmon, Daphne Simmon and David Simmon, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Armani Alvarez, Samuel Alvarez Jr. and Alana Stalling; and her siblings, Connie Cook, Debra Campbell (Willie), Angela Lewis (Walter), Rosalind Cook, Milton Cook, Jr., Jerome Cook (Camella), Elder Reginald T. Cook and Jeffery Cook. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the C. C. Carter Funeral Home (3700 Marshall Ave, Newport News, VA 23607). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Gilfied Baptist Church Cemetery (9040 Doles Rd, Ivor, VA 23866).
