It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Vaughan of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Britt and Obie Britt; and her sisters, Minnie Farmer and Janie Britt (Vernon Vaughan). She is survived by: her siblings, Doris Britt, Helen Britt, Barbara Wiggins, Larry Britt and Obbie Britt; her close friend Vernon Vaughan; and her daughters, Debra Vaughan (Joe Dargan), Darleen Vaughan (Robert Wilkins) and Mary Vaughan Wendy (Ronald Jarvis). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, and her many nieces, nephews.
