We are sad to announce that, on July 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Phyllis C Ayers of Hampton, Virginia, born in Louisburg, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phyllis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Ayers; and her son Claytor Ayers. She is survived by: her sons, William Jason Ayers and Cpt. Steven Forrest Ayers; and her parents, Ed Cone and Maxine Cone.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Foundation.
