Randall Lee Watkins Obituary

We announce the death of Randall Lee Watkins (Hampton, Virginia), who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 91. Randall will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Randall will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Randall will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Randall’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Watkins and Ruby Watkins; his wife Barbara Alligood Watkins; and his sister Carol Hicks. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Watkins (Robin), Keith Watkins (Elizabeth), Jeff Watkins (Lorraine) and Phil Watkins (Jenny); and his sister Mary Louise "Weasy" Coleman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: thirteen great-grandchildren.
