He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Schlichenmayer and Katherine Schlichenmayer; and his wife Hilda Schlichenmayer. He is survived by: his daughter Maryann Kirkland; and his sons-in-law, David Kirkland (Katrina Schlichenmayer Love) of Hampton and Tracey Netherland Huber (Barbara Harris) of Powhatan Virginia. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
