Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Topping; and his parents, George Topping and Evelyn Topping. He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Topping, III (Julia) and Kristen Brewer (Jason); and his grandchildren, Katherine, Karly, Benjamin and Colton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Richard's honor to Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church, 501 Beach Road, Hampton, VA 23664.
