He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ward and Josephine Ward. He is survived by: his sons, John R. Ward, Jr. (Luydmila) and Michael J. Ward (Kelly); his grandchildren, Spencer E. Ward (Amanda), Collin J. Ward and Alexandra P. Ward; his great grandchild Ethan A. Ward; his wife Maureen F. Ward; and his siblings, Jenny Lou Kurtz and James Ward.
