She was predeceased by: her husband Edker "Dick" Saunders; her children, Thomas "Tommy" Moore, Vivian Mancini and Bryan James; and her stepchildren, Edker "Ed" Saunders Jr. and Michael "Mike" Saunders.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen (Dennis) and Patricia (Donnie Hoggard); and her stepchildren, Timothy, Jean Saunders, Richard, Diane Saunders, Bonnie Breedlove and Tim Breedlove. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666). A reception will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Parklawn Wood Funeral Home (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666).
