She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddeus McKinley Bailey and Inez Prescott Bailey. She is survived by: her son Shawn Charity of Hampton; her grandsons, Thierry, Terris and Travion; and her siblings, Austin Bailey of Charlotte, NC, Joe Bailey of Newport News, Floyd Bailey of Hampton and Wyetta Blake (Bunny) of West Point. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and a beloved circle of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who were all blessed by her gentle spirit.
