With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Rae McCabe of Hampton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. McCabe and Jo Ann Kelch McCabe; and her grandmother Ruth Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Thompson (Renee), Chris Thompson (Victoria), Lenny Garner IV (Karem) and Caron Rae Garner; her grandchildren, Brittany Thompson, Reid Thompson, Aiden Thompson, Luciana Betancur, Raymond Garner, Alexis Martinez, Ashley Martinez, Kristen Keatts, Arianna Low, Miranda Garner, Aysha Williams, Ariana Glanville, Marin Rae Glanville and Scarlett Kandel; her great grandchildren, Rylee and Crew Serrano-Garner; her siblings, Linda Leibfried, Ricky McCabe and Michael McCabe; and her friend Dallas Owens.
A reception was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 16 Wallace Rd, Hampton, VA 23664.
