It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Toussaint Daniels Jr. (Hampton, Virginia), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Toussaint Daniels, Sr. and Ophelia "Pete" Hewlin Daniels; his wife Patricia Gaskins Daniels; and his brothers, Joseph and Ray Daniels.
He is survived by: his daughter Terrica Johnson; his grandchildren, Isaiah and Nyia; his siblings, Mary Harrelson (Ivan) of Hampton, Carol Backus of Enfield and Lewis Nicholson (Cynthia) of Suffolk, Virginia; and his siblings-in-law, Doretta Daniels, Barbara Daniels, Davetta Daniels, Randy Gaskins (Ruby) and Leroy Gaskins. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
