She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Harrell Harris; her husband Michael Adams; and her siblings, Bill Harris and Vicky Bryant. She is survived by: her sons, Lee Adams (Beth) of Yorktown, VA and Mark Adams (Debbie) of Hampton, VA; her grandchildren, Michael Adams (Hanna) of Virginia, Matthew Adams of Virginia, Grace Adams of Virginia and Maddie Adams of Virginia; and her siblings, Richard Harris (Gayle) of Colerain, Doug Harris (Pat) of Ahoskie, Sam Harris (Kathy) of Hudson, NC and Ellen Miller of Morganton, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
