He was predeceased by : his parents, William Bloodgood and Catherine Bloodgood; his sister Norma Masters; and his cousin Shirley Becker. He is survived by : his wife Hildegard Bloodgood; his children, Amanda Bloodgood (Jim Corton), Wayne Wyatt Bloodgood, Maria Combs and James Rowland (Tina); his grandsons, Mason Combs, Alexander Rowland and Nicholas Rowland; his brother-in-law Billy Masters; and his pet Diki. He is also survived by his nephew, niece, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (225 Chapel St, Hampton, VA 23669).
