She is survived by: her siblings, William Gaston George (Clara) and Ruby G. Smith (Henry); her grandchildren, Tracie and Troy Carter Jr.; and her close friends, Georgia Doles, Aretha Fields, Tom Steindler, Harriet Harris, Rena George and Nick Danfora.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church (31220 Old Dawn Rd, Hanover, VA 23069).
