She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Baker and Mary Amelia Wilcox. She is survived by: her husband Gene "Butch" Byer; her son Scott Christopher Byer; her cousin Cheryl Dunford; her sister-in-law Betty Byer Roberson; and her goddaughter Amira Cherry.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service (6500 Iron Bridge Rd, Richmond, VA 23234). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chester United Methodist Church (12132 Percival St, Chester, VA 23831).
