It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Shawn Matthews of Hanover, Virginia, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Edna Moorefield Matthews. He is survived by : his wife Cara Lynne Matthews; his daughter Michaela Matthews Wrenn (Brandon); his sister Tasia Dawn Matthews; and his father Huell W. Matthews, Jr.. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
