With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Andrew Jones of Hanover, Virginia, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C and Jo L. Jones. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his sons, Robert Les (Amanda) of Hanover, Richard D. of Hanover and Jeffrey L. Jones (Megan) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Nolan, Elizabeth, Cora, Hayden, Blake, Hannah and Josie Jones; and his siblings, Kathy Mitchell, David Jones (Connie), Becky Lightfoot (AC) and JoElaine Justis (Taylor).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (412 S Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
