He is survived by: his children, David Gallagher and Shannon Campbell; his grandchildren, Alexandra Gallagher, John, Elizabeth Campbell, Colton, Rosalie and Savannah Gallagher; his great grandchildren, Ben Gallagher, Luke Gallagher and Lily Campbell; and his siblings, Catherine Herald, Louis Gallagher, Jerry Gallagher, Marian Fuller, Norman Gallagher, Sarah Payton, Rosie Newton and John Gallagher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Church of the Redeemer in his name.
