With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Wheeler of Hardy, Virginia, born in Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his mother Lola Wheeler Meador; his stepfather William O. Meador; and his siblings, Vonice Wheeler Bratton, Edward Wheeler, Clovis Wheeler and Robert O'Neal Wheeler.
He is survived by : his wife Joyce Boothe Wheeler; his daughter Susan Campbell; his son-in-law Dr. Stephen P. Campbell; his stepgrandchildren, Magen Campbell and Taylor Campbell; his brother Arnold Lee Wheeler; and his sister-in-law Janie Wheeler.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Hardy Volunteer Fire Company, 1220 Bandy Mill Road, Hardy, VA 24101.
