He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Thomas Pruett, Sr.; and his brother Gary Pruett. He is survived by: his mother Shirley B. Pruett; his siblings, Valerie Hines, Trina Kane and Kavin Pruett (Christine); and his friends, Nancy Thomas and Kerry Siefke. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's North Chapel (6732 Peters Creek Rd, Hollins, VA 24019). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park (5070 Cove Rd, Roanoke, VA 24017).
