He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Bennies; and his sister Tamara Bennies. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Bennies; his son Christopher P. Bennies; his mother Ilse Nytra; his brother Gerard; and his siblings-in-law, Sheri Nytra and Fred Szeliga.
