With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ramona Rigsbee of Hardy, Virginia, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Y. Rigsbee; her son Melvin D. Rigsbee; her grandson Timothy D. Hale; her great grandchild Natalie P. Hale; her parents, Emmett Huff and Mary Huff; and her siblings, Kenneth Hedrick, Roy T. Hedrick, Jr., John W. Huff, Denny R. Huff, Betty H. Wimmer and Janice H. Mauk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Gumm (David) and Wanda C. Smith; her grandchildren, Jayson Rigsbee, Devin Rigsbee (Katie), Joshua Hale (Maggie), Dwayne Hale, Clif Rigsbee, Alec Rigsbee and Elizabeth Powell (Matt); and her sisters, Connie Conner-Foutz (Donnie) and Sandra Lyle.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
