He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Hurt and Francis Hurt. He is survived by: his wife Joy Hurt; his mother-in-law Nancy Wuergler; his siblings, Darlene McGuire (Glenn), Wesley Hurt and Mark Hurt (Bettie); his siblings-in-law, Barry Wuergler (Peggy) and Leticia Colls (Greg); his nieces and nephews, Travis McGuire (Shannon), Brian Hurt, Jason Hurt, Bryce Wuergler, Brandy Booth, Jessica Sanborn (Tyler) and Alli Summers (Luke); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Ambrose, Lincoln, Walker, Blake, Megan, Cora and Ella; and his close friends, Chris Cooper and Vickie Hodges.
