He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Davis, Sr. and Everlena Dupree Davis; and his former spouse Modestine Childers. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary, Louise, Hilda, John, Leroy, James and Everett; his stepchild Wilkins Garrett, Jr.; his wife Jennie Rose Hayes; his daughter Silena Davis of Arlington, VA.; and his stepgrandchildren, Kamara Garrett Cooper (Derek Cooper), Adrienne Garrett, Jacqui Garrett Nesbitt (Harold Nesbitt), Christian Garrett Williams, Aeriel Nesbitt, Taylor Nesbitt, Brooke Nesbitt, Jaidyn Nesbitt and Duke Williams.
He made great contributions to many communities, churches and the world.
