With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Lee Moynihan of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Anna Lee is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Anna Lee's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lee and Margaret Madeline Davis Huffman. She is survived by: her husband James Joseph Moynihan, II; her children, Manon Maria Moynihan (Ray Williams) of Manakin-Sabot, VA, James Joseph "Joe" Moynihan, III (Dawn) of Greensboro, GA and Terri Ann Moynihan Snidow (Bob) of Midlothian, VA; and her sisters, Doris Warner of Harrisonburg and Mildred "Millie" Johnson of Harrisonburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church (281 E Market St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801-2219). Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to Muhlenberg Lutheran Church.
