Carl David Mongold Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl David Mongold of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Swartz and Roy Mongold; his wife Sally Shaff; his siblings, Mary Crigler, Ray Mongold, Del Roy Mongold and Donald Mongold; and his stepsons, Rick VanNest and Jeff VanNest.
He is survived by: his sisters, Doris Jean Riggleman of Bridgewater and Dora Lee Lampe of Grottoes; his children, Donna Walton of Maine, Debbie Salman of North Carolina and Harry Chapman of Maine; and his stepchildren, JoAnn Pettinato of Harrisonburg, Gary VanNest of Harrisonburg, Loren VanNest of Dayton and Joey Pettinato of Elkton. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
