He is survived by: his wife Doris Hess; his daughter Natalie Bass (Brian) of Mount Crawford; his sisters, Dorothy Jones of Harrisonburg and Priscilla Whitmore of Harrisonburg; and his grandsons, Adam Michael Bass and Samuel Glenn Bass.
