Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Clifford Ray Morris of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 91, on June 3, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butler Morris and Lydia Ada Miller Morris; his wife Betty "Perk" Holsinger; his siblings, Cecil Morris, Russell Morris, Janet Miller and Lois Vandevander; and his stepsiblings, James Byron Morris, Carl Deyerle Morris, Theora Mae Evans and Pauline Allegra Riddle.
He is survived by: his children, James David Morris (Terri Manor Cline) of Harrisonburg and Maria Self (Rick) of Stephens City; his grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" Morris, Morgan Emmart (Cam) and Derrick Self (Maitland Mann); his great grandchildren, Elouise Emmart and Theodore Emmart; and his close friend Kitty Cline. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Clifford's name to the Alzheimers Association or American Cancer Society.
