He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butler Morris and Lydia Ada Miller Morris; his wife Betty "Perk" Holsinger; his siblings, Cecil Morris, Russell Morris, Janet Miller and Lois Vandevander; and his stepsiblings, James Byron Morris, Carl Deyerle Morris, Theora Mae Evans and Pauline Allegra Riddle.
He is survived by: his children, James David Morris (Terri Manor Cline) of Harrisonburg and Maria Self (Rick) of Stephens City; his grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" Morris, Morgan Emmart (Cam) and Derrick Self (Maitland Mann); his great grandchildren, Elouise Emmart and Theodore Emmart; and his close friend Kitty Cline. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Clifford's name to the Alzheimers Association or American Cancer Society.
