He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richard Custer and Joyce "Foxy" Irene Dickenson Custer (Stanley Carr); and his siblings, Richard Dickenson and Rhonda Custer. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Lynn Shifflett Custer; his sons, Matthew Custer (Felicia) of Broadway and Chase Custer (Cheyenne) of Rockingham; his sister Milly Stanley of Verona; his grandchildren, Hannah Custer and Nathan Custer; and his aunt Jovita Grogg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and his special dog.
