It is with sadness that the passing of Darl Thomas Chenoweth of Harrisonburg, Virginia is shared. Darl, born on May 11, 1952, passed away on October 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl James and Margaret Eleanor Talbott Chenoweth; his daughter Virginia "Ginny" Motsinger; his son-in-law Anthony Noel Stobbs; and his nephew Danny Yount.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Phillips Chenoweth; his children, Eleanor Chenoweth Stobbs and Carl James "C. J." Chenoweth (Nicole "Nikki); his sisters, Carol Renick and Barbara Chenoweth; and his grandchildren, Tyler Stobbs, Brennyn Stobbs, Courtlynd Stobbs, Kinsey Motsinger, Sophia Hammer, Greyson Chenoweth and Wyatt Chenoweth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Sinai Umc Cemetery - Harrisonburg (1723 Port Republic Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
